Tour Itinerary

On early morning arrival at Delhi Airport, you will be received by our representative and commuted to the beautiful Hill station of Nainital(Approx. 9 hours) located in Uttarakhand.

Commonly known as the “Lake District of India”, Nainital is one of the most beautiful hill stations in North India. Surrounded by mountains on three sides Nainital is located around the beautiful lake Naini Tal. This lake resort is situated at a height of 1,938 meters. Overnight stay at Nainital.

After breakfast, we shall visit Snow point, China Peak, Naina Devi Temple, and Nainital Zoo. Evening, you can enjoy a boat ride in the Naini Lake. Overnight stay in Nainital.

 

Today, we shall go for a Lakes Tour wherein we shall visit the famous Lakes of Sattal (seven lakes), Naukuchiyatal (Nine cornered lake) and Bhimtal(largest lake), which are situated at a short distance from Nainital.

We shall also visit Bhowali known as the ‘fruit basket of Kumaon’. Various exotic fruits such as apples, strawberries, apricot, plums and peaches are available here at affordable prices.

Evening free to explore the Mall Road by walk. Overnight stay at Nainital.

After breakfast, we shall leave Nainital and head towards Binsar (Approx. 5-6 hours) via Almora and Jageshwar. Enroute, we shall do Almora sightseeing including Jageshwar Temple.  Overnight stay at Binsar.

Visit Binsar Wildlife Santuary and Binsar Mahadev Temple. 

Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary was founded in the year 1988 with the aim of conserving and protecting the forests of Quercus (broad leaf oak) of the central Himalayas. It is spread between the altitudes of 900 m and 2500 m. It is a rich forest of Indian biodiversity. Being home to more than 200 species of birds including Blackbirds, Kalij Pheasant, Magpies, Forktail, Koklas, Laughing Trush, Eagles, Monal, Eurasian Jays, Nuthatches, Parakeets and many species of butterflies, Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary has been acknowledged as an “Important Bird Area” by Bird Life International. The fauna at Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary includes some rare Himalayan species. Some of the natives here are Chital, Jungle Cat, Leopard, Nemorhaedus Goral, Musk Deer, Black Bear, For, Pine Marten, Sus Scrofa, Monkeys, Langurs, Flying Squirrel, Porcupines, barking deer etc. It also houses many reptiles. 

If interested, you can trek approx. 2 Kms to reach Zero Point from where one can savour a 360-degree view of the Himalayan beauties namely Kedarnath, Shivling, Trishul and the group of Nanda Devi peaks.

Overnight stay at Binsar.

After breakfast, we shall leave Binsar and drive to Chaukori (Approx 4-5 hrs). Day free to explore.

If interested, you can trek approx. 1 ½ kms to visit the Musk Deer Farm located near Chaukori (Entry is prohibited after 3 p.m and camera is a complete no-no there). Overnight stay at Chaukori.

Today, we shall visit the famous Patal Bhuvaneshwar Cave Temple. The cave is 160 m long and 90 feet deep from the point of entrance. Limestone rock formations have created various spectacular stalactite and stalagmite figures of various hues and forms. 

Later, we shall drive back to Chaukori. If interested, on the way back, you can also visit the ancient Nag Devta Temple in Berinag – the town of Snake temples, located around 12 kms from Chaukori. Overnight stay at Chaukori.

After breakfast, we shall leave Chaukori and drive to Munsiyari (Approx. 4-5 hours). Munsiyari literally translated means place with snow and is also referred as Little Kashmir. 

Overnight stay in Munsiyari.

Today, we shall go for Munsiyari local sightseeing wherein we shall visit Nanda Devi Temple , Tribal Museum, Kalamuni Temple and Birthi Water fall. We shall also visit Maheshwari Kund from where you can get a spectacular view of Panchachuli Peaks. After that, you will be visiting Panchachuli Peak which are majestic five peaks lying in Johar Valley. If interested, one can trek to Thamari Kund (Approx 3 kms one way. Overnight stay in Munsiyari.

After breakfast, we shall leave Munsiyari and proceed to the Hill station of Kausani(Approx 7-8 hours), famously called as “The Switzerland of India” by Mahatma Gandhi during his stay here.

 

The place is famous for its scenic splendor and its spectacular 300 km-wide panoramic view of Himalayan peaks like Trisul, Nanda Devi and Panchchuli.

Enroute we shall visit Bageshwar & Baijnath. Overnight stay in Kausani.

Today, you will visit the local attractions of Kausani like Anasakti Ashram (Gandhi Ashram), Laxmi Ashram, Sumitranandan Pant Gallery, Kausani Tea Estate and Baijnath Temple. Overnight stay in Kausani.

After breakfast, we shall leave Kausani and drive to Ranikhet (Approx. 3 hours) which means Queen’s Meadow.

Ranikhet is also the abode of The Kumaon Regimen, the highest decorated regiment of the Indian Army.

 

Visit Jhula Devi Temple,Chaubatia Apple Garden , KRC (Kumaon Regimental Centre) Museum and Golf Course.

Overnight stay in Ranikhet.

After breakfast, we shall drive to Corbett National Park (Approx 5-6 hours). The park was named after Jim Corbett, the legendary hunter-naturalist turned author and photographer who spent most years of his life in this area and helped set up this park. Later, we shall visit the Garjiya Devi Temple and Corbett Falls. 

Overnight stay in Corbett.

Early morning, enjoy Jungle Safari at the Corbett National Park (at your own cost).

India’s first national park is cradled in the foothills of the Himalayas at 3300 feet and spreads over an area of 520 sq km. The magnificent Ramganga River flows through the entire length of the Park. Corbett has the highest density of tiger in India. Other carnivores include the leopard, elephant, bear, deer. Basking along the banks of the Ramganga are the slender snouted gharial and the marsh crocodile. There are watch towers, elephant safaris and jeep safaris for wildlife viewing.

Return to the resort for breakfast. In the afternoon, visit Corbett Wildlife Museum, Dhikala which offers an awesome uninterrupted panoramic view of the valley.

After breakfast, on time departure to Delhi Airport (Approx. 4 ½ – 5 hours) for your onward journey with memories of a Lifetime!
