Tour Itinerary
On arrival at New Jalpaiguri Rly station/ Bagdogra Airport, you will be received by our representative and commuted to the beautiful hill station of Darjeeling (approx. 3 hours) in West Bengal. Darjeeling fondly called “Queen of the Hills” provides a perfect gateway for those seeking to be in harmony with nature. Evening free to explore. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Early Morning (4 am), we shall drive to the Tiger Hill, famous for the beautiful sunrise over Mt. Kangchenjunga, the third highest mountain in the world. On the way back to our Hotel for breakfast, we shall visit the Ghoom Monastery (famous for its 15-feet high statue of Maitreya Buddha) and Batasia Loop. From the Batasia Loop, one can get a panoramic view of Darjeeling town with the Kanchenjunga. Later, we go for a sightseeing tour wherein we shall visit the popular Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, PNZ Zoological Park (closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sunday) and the famous Tea Gardens. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Today, we shall leave Darjeeling and drive to Kalimpong (Approx 3 hours).
Later, we shall visit Deolo Hill. Situated at a height of about 5,413 ft, Deolo Hill is the highest point in Kalimpong, and is located on a ridge. It offers a spectacular panorama of the entire hilly region. Deolo Hill lies to the northeast of Kalimpong and one can see the Relli valley from the top along with the Teesta river. One can enjoy activities like horse riding, paragliding here.

After breakfast, we shall visit Pine View/Cactus Nursery, Kalimpong Science Centre, Durpin Dara Hill and Dr. Graham’s Home. Overnight stay at Kalimpong.
After breakfast, we shall drive to the hill town of Gangtok in Sikkim along the river Teesta( approx. 3 hours). Perched on the ridge of a hill at an altitude of 1700 mt, Gangtok is famous for its scenic beauty and spectacular views of Mt. Kanchenjunga, revered by the local populace as the Guardian Deity of Sikkim. Evening free to explore MG Road – by walk. Overnight stay at Hotel in Gangtok.
After breakfast, we go on an excursion trip to Tsomgo Lake/Changu Lake (approx. 2 ½ hours). The tranquil water of this beautiful lake harmonizes with the picturesque scenery around.We shall also visit Baba Mandir, built in the honor of an Indian Army soldier, Captain ‘Baba’ Harbhajan Singh.
If weather permits, we shall visit Nathula Pass, located near the Indo-China border. Nathula was once an offshoot of ancient silk route connecting Lhasa in Tibet to plains of Bengal. But the pass was closed after the war between India and China in 1962 and was reopened only in 2006. Later, we drive back to our hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel in Gangtok.
After breakfast, we go for a sightseeing tour of Gangtok covering Ranka Monastery, Ban Jakri Falls, Do-Dul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology, Flower show, Ropeway and cottage industry. Evening free for rest. Overnight stay at Hotel in Gangtok.
After breakfast, drive to New Jalpaiguri Rly station/ Bagdogra Airport(approx. 4 -5 hours) for your onward journey with memories of a lifetime!
